Position Overview

As a Part‑Time Teller within PNC’s Retail Banking organization, you will be based in Birmingham, AL. PNC is an in‑office company that fosters a collaborative and supportive culture. The teller position requires on‑site presence and participates in branch operations and customer interactions. IT support for technology tools and resources is available through the branch.

• Delivers a customer experience that improves financial wellbeing and creates loyalty while increasing share of wallet.
• Processes a variety of customer interactions and educates customers on alternatives available for their financial interactions.
• Identifies banking opportunities during the customer interaction and refers as appropriate.
• Identifies opportunities through meaningful conversations with customers, making appropriate referrals to branch staff.
• Performs lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs.
• Applies product and procedural knowledge to solve customers’ problems.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits and ensuring teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.

• Customer Focused – Knowledgeable about the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations.
• Managing Risk – Assessing and effectively managing all risks associated with business objectives and activities to support PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Paid time off includes parental leave, up to 11 paid holidays each year, 7 occasional absence days each year, and vacation time based on hours worked for part‑time employees, accruing after 90 days of service.
