FP&A Associate

Location: Birmingham, AL (Onsite)

Our client, a leading manufacturing and distribution company based in Birmingham, is looking for an FP&A Associate to join the team. In this role, you will support executives by consolidating financial budgets, optimizing resources, enhancing forecasts, and delivering insights for business performance.

• Gather, analyze and interpret financial and operational data across Business Units, delivering meaningful insights on trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Perform detailed reviews of monthly financial performance, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow results, comparing budgets to actuals, forecasts and prior year performance.
• Prepare executive level reporting packages, presentations, and board support materials.
• Evaluate financial data to uncover trends, patterns and opportunities that drive profitability improvements and cost optimization initiatives.
• Leverage FP&A and business intelligence tools to enhance reporting automation and analytical capabilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Accounting Analyst or similar role.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Power BI, Tableau, Oracle or similar experience.
