Community based Level III, trauma center in a beautiful Coastal setting has started a search for an Interim Chief Financial Officer. Major responsibilities of the Interim Chief Financial Officer will include developing and maintaining a strategic financial plan and annual operating and capital budgets; financial analysis of new programs, acquisitions, and business development; revenue management; preparation of the financial statements. Oversight and management of audits of hospital accounts.

Prepares special analytical, statistical and financial studies to support long range planning, and investigation and appraisal of major equipment purchases and hospital expansion or remodel. This position reports directly with the Chief Executive Officer and is a member of the executive leadership team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or management,
• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, preferred
• FHFMA Certification or Certified Public Accountant, preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience at acute care hospitals overseeing financial Units,
• 5-7+ years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, accounts payable, treasury, audit, tax, and payroll,
• Advanced knowledge of provider billing practices and understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies and healthcare financial management,
