Accountant; SYSTEMS

This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Debt Financial Management Division. As an Accountant (SYSTEMS), you will perform highly analytical assignments involving multiple data sources and business units.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. • Experience performing reviews of systems issues and developing solutions to enhance financial system processes and ensure compliance with governing policies and procedures; AND
• Experience conducting briefings, presentations, and/or meetings on compliance related topics that impact financial systems; AND
• Experience working with a team that develops, designs, schedules, and performs acceptance tests of financial accounting systems software changes
