Finance Assistant

Serra Automotive Group (Serra Chevy) is looking for a Finance Assistant to support the Finance Department in Birmingham, AL on an onsite schedule. This position helps keep dealership financing moving smoothly by coordinating paperwork, confirming documentation with customers and lenders, and monitoring each assigned deal until it is funded. The salary is USD 3,000 per month

• Collect and follow up on missing stipulations to keep financing on track
• Call customers, banks, and lenders to request, confirm, and complete required documents
• Track contracts in transit and assist in resolving funding delays
• Verify finance paperwork is complete and accurate before it moves forward
• Organize deal jackets and maintain finance records for assigned transactions
• Obtain proof of income, residence, insurance, and other lender requirements
• Communicate clearly with customers, managers, and finance personnel to prevent issues and rework
• Protect confidential customer and financial information at all times
• Stay on top of every assigned deal through the funding stage

• Automotive dealership or finance-office experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Professional and confident phone communication
• Ability to solve problems independently without needing every step outlined
• Comfort with repeated follow-up calls to ensure documentation is received
• Dependable attendance and a strong sense of urgency
• Basic computer, email, and document-management skills
