We are seeking a compassionate and dependable licensed Cosmetologist/Beautician to provide salon services to residents in multiple long-term care and rehabilitation facilities throughout the Birmingham area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who enjoys working with seniors and wants the flexibility of operating their own business while serving a rewarding and appreciative population.

For many residents, salon day is one of the most anticipated events of the week. Your services help residents maintain dignity, confidence, and quality of life while creating meaningful connections along the way.

• Haircuts and styling
• Shampoo and sets
• Men's barber services
• Beard and mustache trims
• Perms and color services
• Special occasion styling
• Additional cosmetology services permitted by Alabama licensure

• Flexible scheduling

• Current Alabama Cosmetology License or Barber License in good standing
• Experience working with elderly clients preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Patience, compassion, and professionalism
• Ability to accommodate residents with mobility limitations and special needs

• Maintain all required professional licenses and certifications
• Provide proof of professional liability insurance
• Meet facility vendor credentialing requirements
• Successfully complete required background screening and onboarding requirements
• Comply with facility infection control, safety, resident rights, and confidentiality policies
• Maintain all supplies, equipment, and products necessary to perform services

This is an independent contractor opportunity. The selected provider will operate as an independent business owner and is responsible for maintaining all applicable licenses, insurance coverage, taxes, and regulatory requirements.
