Student Respiratory Therapist Pulmonary Care Unit

In Respiratory Care PCU at Main Campus Lowder Building

Work schedule will be Flexi PRN on the Day shift, Flexi prn.

The respiratory therapy student employee will observe and occasionally assist with specified, limited respiratory therapy procedures under the direct clinical supervision of a licensed respiratory care practitioner. This individual will assist respiratory care practitioners in the provision of care to patients and their families and will perform assigned duties and responsibilities according to institutional and department specific policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Direct administrative supervision will be the responsibility of the Respiratory Care Services Director. This position is designed to provide directly supervised hands‑on learning opportunities for students pursuing full‑time employment post‑graduation.

Must display effective communication skills.
