Job HighlightsJoining our radiology team at UAB Medicine positions you to shape the future of medical imaging and patient care at our adult Level I Trauma Center. To review abdomen exams to ensure adherence to proper imaging protocols and diagnostic quality of images. To review exams in collaboration with the radiologist and dictate reports. To schedule biopsies and other procedures for the radiologist. To train students, residents and technologists as necessary.
Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent and five (5) years experience in all ultrasound modalities required. Currently credentialed as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) required.CPR certified or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.Why Work at UAB Medicine
