Mental Health Technician

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and teens? Beacon Children’s Hospital of Luverne is looking for dedicated, compassionate Mental Health Technicians (MHTs) to join our team! We have immediate full-time openings on both day (7a–7p) shifts.

Our hospital focuses on personalized, evidence-based care through a collaborative, multidisciplinary team approach. • Build therapeutic relationships by providing daily support and supervision to patients
• Monitor and document behavior, conduct regular safety checks, and ensure a structured, supportive environment
• Take vital signs, assist with admissions/discharges, and escort patients as needed
• Help teach life skills and reinforce treatment goals
• Play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healing atmosphere

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA or college coursework in psychology, social work, or a related field
• Other Requirements: CPR and Handle With Care certification required within 30 days of hire
