Job Summary
Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Birmingham, Alabama. The role offers 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts, and competitive weekly pay.
CT Tech Contract Details- Weekly pay: $2,083 - $2,277*
- Duration: 13 weeks with possibility to extend
- Shift: 12‑hour days, 36 hours per week
- Contract type:
Travel - AM shifts available
- Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
- Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety
- Explaining scanning procedures to patients
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
- Evaluating CT scans for technical quality
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
- Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
- 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols
