Schedules: 8 a.m.

- 5 p.m.

To process, analyze and ensure all medical records are complete within the required time frame. To ensure the integrity of the electronic medical record through data analysis, review and reporting. To provide a timely response for requests of medical information according to departmental and hospital release of information guidelines.

Associate’s degree from an accredited Health Information Technology program required. Experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently certified or eligibility to sit for the national exam for Registered Health Information Technology (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) required. If RHIT or RHIA eligible, certification must be obtained within six (6) months from the date of hire.
