• Perform phlebotomies and collect blood from donors in accordance with Life South Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Collect blood using automated instruments (once trained).
• Register donors in the Life South computer system (IBBIS).
• Determine donor eligibility through the donor interview and physical assessment process.
• Accurately identify donors throughout every step of the donation process.
• Assist with donor recruitment, tele-recruitment, and appointment rescheduling.
• Convert eligible donors to automated technology (apheresis) when appropriate.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to meet and maintain Life South driver's eligibility requirements.
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with computer software applications.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, including procedure manuals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• CDL holders preferred; additional compensation available.
