What youll need to excel:

• Valid Professional Educator Certification
• Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from a regionally accredited college or university
• Thorough understanding of laws and regulations concerning special education and services for children with disabilities
• Familiarity with pediatric and adolescent cognitive and physical development, including assessment tools relevant to diagnosing disabilities
• Ability to compile, interpret, and analyze data; skill in applying relevant policies and laws
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Preferred credentials:

• ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
• ABSESPA Licensure

In this school setting, youll provide on-site servicesremote or virtual work is not available. Your caseload and daily assignments will be based on current district needs, allowing you to make a difference where its most valuable. Youll assess, diagnose, and treat students, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and help develop and implement IEPs.
