Responsibilities
Provide direct care to residents with psychiatric disorders, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Utilize a therapeutic approach to all tasks, including assistance with daily activities, facilitation of groups, and other duties as assigned by Group Leader, Assistant Group Leader, or Shift Supervisor.
Ensure resident safety on the unit using therapeutic techniques and crisis intervention.
QualificationsBachelor's or Associate's degree in psychology, social work, education, criminal justice, or related mental health field preferred, but not required.
Must be 19 years or older, have a successful drug screen, and pass a background check (criminal history, Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, and ABI/FBI fingerprint check).
Strong documentation skills, ability to organize, monitor residents, safely perform physical management techniques and crisis intervention.
Experience in a residential mental/behavioral health setting strongly preferred.
