Chipton-Ross is seeking a Pharmacist for a contract opportunity in Birmingham, AL

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy, regulatory compliance, and attention to detail in a fast-paced pharmacy environment

• Ensuring the accurate, efficient, and complete processing and dispensing of prescriptions.
• Overseeing all pharmacy recordkeeping, licensing, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Reviewing, updating, and adhering to pharmacy policies, protocols, and procedures to maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating and communicating effectively with pharmacists, including those at remote locations, and with Third-Party Logistics personnel to resolve operational and patient-related issues.
• Maintaining all required documentation, including exception reports and other regulatory records.
• Ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality assurance standards, Joint Commission (JCAHO) requirements, state and federal regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), where applicable.
• Performing additional pharmacy-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Accredited Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S. Pharmacy) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.

• On Call- 20-30 hours per month.
