Responsible for coordinating the clinical education, onboarding, and compliance activities for the Diagnostic Imaging Department cent's Birmingham. This position serves as the primary coordinator for Radiologic Technology students, supports the onboarding of new associates, and maintains departmental education, competency, credentialing, and quality compliance records.

1. Coordinates the clinical education experience for Radiologic Technology students assigned to the St. Vincent's Birmingham campus, including orientation, competency validation, evaluations, scheduling, and required documentation.
2. Serves as the primary liaison between the department and affiliated Radiologic Technology programs, faculty, and clinical instructors regarding student progress and clinical requirements.
3. Coordinates onboarding activities for newly hired Diagnostic Imaging associates, including department orientation, system access, passwords, Health Stream assignments, required education, and departmental policies and procedures.
4. Assists new associates in obtaining required access to department systems, applications, and equipment.
5. Maintains departmental records for licensure, ARRT certification, competencies, annual education, continuing education, and other regulatory requirements.
6. Maintains departmental quality control (QC) documentation and other records required for regulatory, accreditation, and operational compliance.
7. Performs routine audits of education, competency, credentialing, and compliance records to ensure completeness and accuracy.
8. Assists leadership with preparation for regulatory and accreditation surveys, including Joint Commission, ACR, and other applicable agencies.
9. Ensure staff meet state, federal, and accrediting body requirements (ARRT, Joint Commission, ACR)

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations

• Currently registered as a Registered Technologist (R.T.(ARRT)) by the American Registry of Radiologic
  Technologists (ARRT), Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), or current
  credentialed as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by the American Registry for
  Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) required.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart
  Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related Allied Health field required.
• Three (3) years of experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist required.
• Experience coordinating student clinical education, onboarding, or departmental education activities preferred.
