Description

Located in the Professional Office Building #52 on the UAB St. Vincent’s East Campus, the facility now provides 6 operating rooms and 9 procedure rooms and a Cysto room.SUMMARY
Provides general care to patients in the facility by performing the following duties within the operating room.
- This is a PRN position. Scheduled as needed.
- Work schedule
- Need availability to be Monday
- Friday for PRN - Operate C-Arm and/or portable x-ray.
- Maintain safe environment for patient, staff and physicians during radiologic exams.
- Prepares rooms and equipment for procedures.
- Maintains a clean environment by daily cleaning of all work surfaces and equipment.
- Participates in cleaning all aprons and lead shields as needed.
- Participates in patient call backs in between cases.
- Required:
Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology. ARRT registered or registry eligible for the ARRT certification in radiography.
* Specialties include:
Orthopedic, ENT, Pain, Weight loss, GYN, Urology and Ophthalmology and GI.
- Must have Xray Degree and License
- BLS required
- Xray experience or Xray background preferred
- Looking for availability for Monday-Friday, no weekends!
- PRN needed to help with heavy case days and to help with vacation day coverage
