Physical Therapist PT

At Birmingham Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, we bring skilled nursing, therapy, and rehabilitation together with the warmth and comfort of true Southern hospitality. We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This position is ideal for a licensed clinician who values schedule flexibility while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

As a member of our therapy team, you will provide skilled physical therapy services to residents and patients across our short-term rehabilitation and long-term care populations. You will work as needed to cover caseload demand, staffing gaps, and peak census periods.

• Evaluate patients and develop or carry out individualized treatment plans (PT), or deliver treatment under the supervision of a licensed PT and per the established plan of care (PTA)
• Document evaluations, progress, and outcomes in compliance with facility, state, and CMS requirements
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient goals and discharge planning
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and home programs
• Maintain compliance with all clinical, safety, and regulatory standards

• PT: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program; current, unrestricted Alabama PT license
• PTA: Graduate of an accredited PTA program; current, unrestricted Alabama PTA license
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work a flexible, as-needed schedule
