Hotel General Manager- Boutique Hotel

Step into a leadership role at a thriving independent boutique hotel located in a beautifully restored historic building just steps from UAB. We’re looking for an energetic, hands‑on General Manager who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.

• Oversee all daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance
• Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team to drive guest satisfaction and operational excellence
• Maintain proper staffing levels while managing labor costs in line with budget expectations
• Ensure compliance with all city and state regulations
• Foster a positive, team‑oriented culture that supports high morale and strong performance
• Report directly to the Area Manager
• C ollaborate on strategic marketing, sales, and revenue goals

• A high‑energy leader with strong communication and people‑management skills
• Someone who leads by example with confidence, enthusiasm, and professionalism
• Prior hotel management and hospitality experience (1 year preferred)
