We are seeking a Homecare HR Onboarding Specialist to join our team in Birmingham, AL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the onboarding process for new homecare employees, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles. This includes coordinating orientation sessions, collecting necessary paperwork, conducting background checks, and providing support to new hires as they acclimate to their positions.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate and schedule new hire orientation sessions
- Collect and review new hire paperwork, including I-9 forms and background check authorizations
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to onboarding processes
- Provide support and guidance to new hires as they navigate their first days on the job
- Collaborate with HR team to streamline onboarding processes and improve efficiency
- Previous experience in HR, onboarding, or related field
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to onboarding processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
