Summary of Duties
Responsible for the developing, implementing, and coordinating administrative, clerical and technical human resources support procedures and processes for Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA),Workers’ Compensation and Unemployment administration and coordinating and completing payroll for facilities as assigned.
Essential Job FunctionsParticipates in unemployment appeal hearings as requested.
Trains managers on the utilization of the time and attendance system as requested.
Forwards report to Division Human Resources Director on a monthly basis.
Coordinates the claim process with the third party administrator.
Human Resources Management Degree or business related degree, or equivalent human resources experience required.
PHR/SPHR certification preferred. Minimum of five (5) years progressive Human Resources experience to include a minimum of two (2) years of experience with Payroll, FMLA and Workers’ Compensation claims processing required.
