Qualifications
- Strong understanding of IT components for network monitoring.
- Ability to work independently and stay organized.
- Exposure to Control-M, JAMS, & Service Now.
- Experience with App Dynamics or Splunk.
- Previous NOC experience (preferred).
A client of Insight Global’s is looking for a NOC technician to join their team in Birmingham, Alabama for their second shift:
Tuesday through Saturday 3:00pm-11:00pm onsite. This individual will be proactively monitoring the data center and communication networks. You will be responsible for managing tickets and solving issues for internal customers and escalating tickets if needed. Tickets will be resolved according to Standard Operating Procedures as well as developing and maintain new NOC policies and tools. This opportunity is a contract for the duration of 2026 with potential for extension.
The pay rate for this position is $20-$21/ hour. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
