Job Description
One of TEKsystems' long-standing clients, an enterprise organization based in Birmingham, AL, is looking for a Project Manager to join their PMO organization. The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting projects within several IT departments to include Information Security, Network, Field Operations and Data Analytics. The candidate will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of any given project, although the main areas of focus will be on risk management, stakeholder management and driving projects, and reporting and documentation.
The candidate will pick up projects that are in-flight as well as new, upcoming projects.
Due to the company going through a large-scale digital transformation, there are quite a few projects always running concurrently, so we need a PM who has experience managing multiple projects at a time and who is highly organized. Whenever there are new systems/applications, etc., the stakeholders can push back and it is essential for this PM to hold the stakeholders accountable and not let projects slow down accordingly.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Birmingham, AL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Birmingham, AL. This role is 100% onsite; however, the company is employee and family friendly, so if there's ever a need to be remote, there is flexibility.
