Technical Support, IT Support, Systems Engineer
The Application Engineer II will serve as a hands‑on technical resource responsible for assisting customers in selecting and adopting the appropriate AI technology stack for their needs. This role will support custom AI development within Azure services by helping design, implement, and maintain application‑level components that integrate with Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, ML model endpoints, and related platform resources. Additionally, the role will contribute to overall service management of AI by participating in troubleshooting, operational governance, and lifecycle management of AI workloads.
Responsibilities- Develop, test, and deploy applications for the enterprise and the public.
- Engage customers to develop innovative solutions that add business value.
- Maintain focus on requirements gathering and documentation.
- Mentor and guide junior developers or student employees.
- Provide technical and administrative support to the department.
- Act as a direct liaison with user, technical support, training, and operations personnel.
- Commit to fostering an environment of heightened security following IT Security Policies, and participate in annual security training such as HIPAA and FERPA.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field.
- Four (4) years of related experience.
- Work experience does NOT substitute for the education requirement.
(Annual Salary: $77,640 - $126,170)
Preferred Experience- .NET / C# (ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework)
- Microsoft Azure services (App Service, Functions, Storage, Azure Dev Ops, etc.)
- Microsoft AI Foundry or similar services
- React for web
- React Native or another cross‑platform mobile framework (Flutter, MAUI)
- Mobile development concepts (platform lifecycle, native modules, device APIs)
- CI/CD pipelines
- Relational databases (SQL Server)
- Containerization (Docker)
