Data Scientist Sr

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI/ML solutions, deep learning, and cloud computing. This role involves leading projects from conception to deployment, requiring a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for data-drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AI and machine learning solutions from initial concept to production deployment.
• Apply supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, such as regression, decision trees, random forests, gradient boosted decision trees (XGBoost, Light
  
  GBM), KNN, and t-SNE
• Develop and optimize deep learning models using tools such as Tensor Flow, Keras, PyTorch, or MXNet
• Explore and integrate generative AI technologies such as OpenAI, Llama 2, Lang Chain, Llama Index, vector databases, and RAG applications.
• Utilize AWS Sage Maker for scalable cloud computing and machine learning model deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, formulate technical approaches, and deliver actionable insights.
• Maintain and manage project timelines and deliverables using JIRA.
• Continuously stay abreast of the latest AI/ML advancements and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics or related field.
• 5+ years of experience building and deploying AI/ML solutions.
• Strong proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as Tensor Flow, Keras, PyTorch, or MXNet.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI technologies and vector databases.
• Proven track record of successful cloud computing implementation, preferably with AWS Sage Maker.
• Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools like JIRA.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of Bayesian statistics and causal inference.
• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with Shiny and Streamlit.
• Experience with graph network analysis (networkx, Neo4J)

• Leads the implementation of analytical projects that leverage vast amounts of structured and unstructured data to extract actionable business insights.
• Directs the data gathering, data processing and data mining of large and complex datasets.
• Leads the development of algorithms using advanced mathematical and statistical techniques like machine learning to predict business outcomes and recommend optimal actions to management.
• Leads analytical experiments in a methodical manner to find opportunities for product and process optimization. Presents business insights to management using visualization technologies and data storytelling.
• Partners with Data Architects, Data Analysts, Data Engineers and Visualization Experts to develop data-driven solutions for the business.
