Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst / Junior Data Scientist to join our client's growing team. This individual will support data-driven decision-making by collecting, transforming, analyzing, and visualizing data from a variety of sources. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with statistical analysis, ETL processes, and data visualization tools, along with a strong foundation in Python, R, and SQL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes across multiple data sources and databases.
  • Write efficient SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data for reporting and analysis.
  • Conduct statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to support business initiatives and strategic decisions.
  • Apply machine learning techniques and predictive modeling methods to solve business problems and improve forecasting capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver analytical solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity throughout the analytics lifecycle.
  • Document processes, methodologies, and findings for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.
  • Experience with data visualization libraries and tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Tableau.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and working with structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Understanding of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling concepts.
  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques and analytical methodologies.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical findings clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with cloud platforms or modern data environments.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and relational databases.
  • Exposure to business intelligence or reporting environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
