In addition to standard data‑architecture skills, the right candidate will have experience with data streaming, particularly Kafka, and with designing data streaming pipelines. The position will work with an extremely large, complex, and foundational data‑streaming platform that supports making data available from many systems of record to all of our channel applications. Strong communication skills are mandatory, and the candidate must be able to communicate at multiple levels – technology partners, business partners, and leadership.
Responsibilities- Design, develop and optimize highly complex, specialized data warehouses with flexible and scalable data and ETL architecture to support business users and business‑intelligence (BI) applications.
- Analyze business‑intelligence data and make recommendations for data‑warehouse growth and integration for the enterprise.
- Work with IT and business customers to develop requirements for designing the overall data‑warehouse architecture.
- Provide support and technical guidance to ensure architecture and framework are aligned with BI application needs.
- Lead and consult on the implementation and integration of data warehouses; ensure data is current and meets organizational quality and integrity standards.
- Customer Focused – Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
- Managing Risk – Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
- University/college degree is required; a master’s or PhD is desirable.
- Industry‑relevant experience typically 8+ years.
- Optional military service may be considered as part of comparable experience.

Base Salary: $80,000.00 – $ (salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education). This role is incentive eligible with payment based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
