The Functional Consultant is a strong independent contributor with deep process and technology expertise within their domain. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality functional outputs, managing defined scope independently, and supporting solution design and build activities.

The functional consultant demonstrates quick problem‑solving capability, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage client expectations within their assigned area. They contribute proactively to team objectives, continuously upskill, and actively articulate their career development trajectory.

This role represents a high-performing individual contributor with growing ownership and client‑facing responsibility.

• Prepare and maintain high-quality functional documentation including:

  • Business Process Solution Documents
  • Configuration rationale documentation
  • RICEFW specifications - Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows
• Translate business requirements into structured functional designs.
• Ensure completeness, traceability, and accuracy of deliverables within assigned scope.
• Support configuration validation and testing activities.

• Demonstrate strong process knowledge within assigned functional area.
• Apply sound technology understanding to align solutions with system capabilities.
• Support solution design discussions with structured input.
• Contribute to resolving design and build-related challenges using analytical reasoning.

• Manage defined client interactions independently within scope.
