Position Overview
Pay range: $17.95 - $29.00 / hour. Job DescriptionTo provide support to end-users for PC, server or mainframe applications, and hardware. To restore service and/or identify and correct core problems by interacting with network services, software systems engineering and/or applications development. To simulate or recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties. To recommend systems modifications to reduce user problems. To refer more complex problems to intermediate and/or senior level.
JobSpecific Duties
- Monitoring help desk phones, e-mails and other electronic problem reporting mechanisms.
- Makes sure they are responding appropriately in a precise and timely manner.
- Provides computer hardware, software, and network problem resolutions.
- Implements and installs new computer solutions, and contributes to logistical solutions for unit needs.
- Utilizes Problem Management database to register problems and record most effective solutions.
Associate's degree in Information Systems or a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
