Scrum Master, IT Consultant, IT Project Manager, Systems Analyst
Position Overview
As a Scrum Master Sr. within PNC's Retail Lending organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX, Birmingham, AL, or Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you will support and facilitate Scrum teams, ensuring delivery of high-quality products while fostering an inclusive workplace culture where all employees feel respected, valued, and empowered.
Responsibilities- Support and facilitate a number of Scrum Teams with varying complexity and functions, fostering Agile values and practices.
- Ensure team adherence to Agile principles and provide coaching to newly formed teams on how to execute the Scrum framework.
- Organize and facilitate ceremonies, recommend and execute improvement opportunities to optimize velocity and mitigate risk.
- Track and communicate overall team progress, providing visibility to stakeholders.
- Take a broader perspective to provide solutions to complex challenges and serve as a filter to remove impediments identified by the team.
- Protect the team from outside influences to keep focus on Scrum priorities.
- Partner with Product Owner(s) to ensure backlog items are prioritized based on business value and are ready for the team.
Skills and Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) – foundational understanding of Scrum.
- Experience with Agile Methodologies – proven experience leading and coaching teams using Scrum and other Agile frameworks.
- Strong Facilitation Skills – ability to lead and guide effective Agile ceremonies and discussions.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills – effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and management.
- Problem‑Solving and Conflict Resolution – identify and resolve impediments and conflicts within the team.
- Leadership and Mentoring – guide, coach, and mentor team members and other Scrum Masters.

- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
