Position Overview

At PNC, our people are our greatest differentiator and competitive advantage. As a Data Architect Sr. in the Retail Lending organization, you will be based in one of the following locations:
Dallas, TX;
Pittsburgh, PA;
Birmingham, AL;
Phoenix, AZ;
Denver, CO.

• Provide thought leadership for the evolution of application architecture.
• Collaborate with Architectural Leadership to drive the strategic roadmap and prioritize architectural initiatives.
• Work with Product Owners to ensure business priorities are delivered in a timely manner through monthly releases.
• Participate in business requirement gathering sessions and understand client needs.
• Create, present, and obtain signoffs for design documents.
• Support enterprise architecture and perform proofs‑of‑concept for new requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all architecture and technology standards and handle exceptions and vulnerabilities.
• Stay current with new technologies to maintain forward progress of enterprise architecture.

• 8+ years of experience architecting mission‑critical, high‑volume, low‑latency services.
• Experience with governance, implementation, and use of analytical data, advanced analytics, and visualization.
• Experience coordinating multiple teams and prioritizing requirements based on business value.
• Implementation and governance of Business Data Architecture Standards.
• Collaboration with Enterprise Architecture and technology partners to generate business requirements and strategic solutions.
• Architecting high‑performance application data services against large data stores.
• Experience with SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT, APIs, cloud platforms, and distributed computing solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to translate complex technical information to senior management and product teams.
• Experience providing technical thought leadership across an organization.
