Position: Scrum Master / Project Manager

Naph Care has an excellent opportunity for a Scrum Master / Project Manager to join on-site at our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, AL.

This is an on-site position in Birmingham, AL with the potential for hybrid work. U.S. Citizen or Green Card ONLY. No sponsor ships or Visa transfers at this time.

We are seeking a results-driven Scrum Master / Project Manager to lead Agile delivery while ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery of key technology and business initiatives. This hybrid role combines servant leadership with traditional project management accountability, supporting cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality healthcare and operational solutions.

The ideal candidate will balance Agile facilitation with project oversight, ensuring alignment between business goals, timelines, and technical execution in a regulated healthcare environment.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement
  • Remove impediments and proactively address team blockers
  • Drive team accountability, transparency, and high performance
  • Plan, manage, and deliver projects from initiation through completion
  • Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with organizational priorities
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across teams
  • Provide regular status updates and reporting to leadership and stakeholders
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Partner with Product Owners to prioritize and refine the product backlog
  • Collaborate with IT, operations, clinical, and business teams
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
  • Support change management and user adoption initiatives
  • Track and analyze Agile and project metrics (velocity, burndown, KPIs)
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and delivery efficiency
  • Support Agile maturity and scaling efforts across the organization
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field
  • 47+ years of experience in Scrum Master, Project Manager, or hybrid roles
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and traditional project management practices
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and deliver complex projects
  • Experience managing multiple initiatives in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills
  • Experience with tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Azure Dev Ops, or similar platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent)
  • Experience in healthcare, corrections, or regulated industries
  • Familiarity with enterprise software, EHR systems, or IT service management
  • Experience supporting Agile transformations or hybrid delivery models
  • Corporate office setting in Birmingham, AL
  • Highly collaborative, cross‑functional environment
  • Fast‑paced with evolving priorities and strategic initiatives
