Senior Business and Planning Specialist — Research & Intelligence

As a Business Experience and Plan Specialist within PNC's Technology Strategy organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX, Birmingham, AL or Denver, CO. This position is part of PNC’s Technology Strategy team within the Research & Intelligence function. The role is responsible for developing timely, actionable insights that help technology leaders understand market trends, peer activity, emerging capabilities, regulatory developments, and strategic opportunities.

You will translate complex information into clear executive-ready insights that inform strategy, prioritization, investment decisions, and business case development.

Supports one or more line of business initiatives to understand, analyze, develop and implement key line of business solutions that will drive business objectives. Demonstrates commitment to quality by delivering customer focus and appropriate risk management practices to customers and/or internal partners. Understands the business problem, identifies complex issues and prepares and executes a planned approach for one or more line of business initiatives.

Defines and obtains data collection, research and reporting activities for assigned line of business initiatives. Conducts research, analyzes and recommends solutions for key initiatives. Works with key decision makers to ensure cross-business and cross-functional alignment and synergy. Serves as subject matter resource and advocate that understands and implements best practices and learning plans to meet business objectives.

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.

In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Base Salary: $63,750.00 – $ (may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education). This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
