About the JobWe are seeking an IT Business Analyst to join our Enterprise Solutions. In this role, you will work directly under the guidance of our Product Owners to support the daily operational and functional health of our financial ERP modules.
What You'll Do- Support the Product Owners: Work closely with the Product Owners to execute the day‑to‑day backlog. You will handle the “boots‑on‑the‑ground” analysis, troubleshooting, and system support that keeps our financial modules running.
- Maintain Transactional Integrity: Support the flow of data through the system. You will ensure that transactions process correctly and integrate seamlessly across the environment, moving from sub‑ledgers (Fixed Assets, AR, Collections, Project Costing) into the General Ledger. Support foreign currency‑related transactions.
- Module & Process Support: Provide dedicated support for Accounts Receivable, Collections, General Ledger, Cash Management, Project Costing, and Fixed Assets. You will investigate discrepancies, reconcile data, and ensure that our business functions have the system tools they need to operate.
- Assist in System Design: While this is a support‑heavy role, you will also contribute to small‑scale design improvements and system configurations, helping to bridge the gap between current business requirements and system capabilities.
- Continuous Learning: Actively develop your skills in the Oracle ecosystem. Under the mentorship of the Product Owners, you will bridge the gap between your current technical knowledge and the future‑state capabilities of Oracle Cloud Fusion.
- Functional SME Support: Provide functional assistance for core financial modules. Own the resolution of system issues, testing of patches, and daily configuration maintenance.
- Integration Governance: Monitor and maintain integration points across financial functions. When an integration fails, you will lead the root‑cause analysis, working with technical teams to ensure accurate cross‑module data flow.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Participate in testing cycles (UAT) for system patches, upgrades, and new feature deployments, ensuring that changes maintain the integrity of the accounting architecture.
- Documentation: Maintain functional documentation, standard operating procedures, and “how‑to” guides for the business functions supported by our ERP modules.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Identify bottlenecks in financial workflows and bring them to the Product Owners with proposed solutions.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS, or related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Application Configurator, or Software Support Analyst, preferably in a Tier 1 Financial or ERP support environment.
- Functional Acumen: A solid foundation in accounting principles (GL, Fixed Assets, Project Costing, AR, Collections, Inter‑company, Close & Consolidation). You must understand how financial transactions work in a global integrated system environment.
- Transactional Fluency: An aptitude for troubleshooting. You enjoy figuring out “why” a transaction didn’t post or “why” a balance is off. You enjoy working with cloud‑based complex business application software designed to enable a global enterprise to operate, and you are data‑driven to find the answer.
- Collaborative Spirit: You thrive in a support role. You take direction well from your Product Owners, communicate clearly, and enjoy working as part of a…
