About this Role
Quanta Power Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented System Administrator II or III to support and evolve enterprise IT infrastructure across IT and OT environments. This role will lead the design, implementation, and management of on-premises, hosted, and cloud systems, ensuring secure, reliable operations across a geographically distributed footprint. The ideal candidate is adaptable, technically strong, and experienced in fast‑paced, evolving environments.
WhatYou'll Do
- Design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure including servers, virtualization, identity, and cloud platforms
- Serve as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues, driving troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and hybrid identity services
- Administer Microsoft Azure (VMs, networking, storage, identity, and security)
- Support Microsoft 365 (Entra , Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune)
- Implement and maintain endpoint management and security policies via Intune
- Support SSO and identity federation (SAML and third‑party integrations)
- Manage virtualization environments (primarily Hyper‑V), backup, and disaster recovery systems
- Partner with network and cybersecurity teams to maintain secure, compliant environments
- Lead infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and M&A system integrations
- Maintain system hardening, patching, monitoring, and compliance standards
- Support OT infrastructure in collaboration with engineering and operations teams
- Develop technical documentation, runbooks, and disaster recovery plans
- Provide on‑call support and mentor junior IT staff
- 4‑8 years of experience in system administration or infrastructure engineering
- Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and core infrastructure services
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (Entra , Intune, etc.)
- Experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper‑V preferred)
- Knowledge of SSO, identity federation, and security best practices
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
- Experience in power generation or industrial environments
- Exposure to OT/ICS/SCADA systems
- Experience in M&A integrations and distributed infrastructure
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards
- Scripting/automation experience (Power Shell, Azure CLI)
- Relevant certifications (Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server)
