Fall Legal Intern, Product & Technology Counsel

Overview

Glacier Dev Group is a software development and consulting studio building production-grade tools for regulated industries. Our portfolio includes platforms that handle sensitive client data, complex compliance requirements, and the kind of technical infrastructure that actually has to hold up in the real world.

This is a working role for a 3L who wants to be embedded with a product development team, not filing, not pouring coffee. You’ll draft and review contracts, maintain compliance documentation, and validate that how we handle PHI, PII, and other regulated data types actually meets the frameworks governing our clients: HIPAA, CCPA, GDPR, and others as relevant.

• Draft and review contracts
• Maintain compliance documentation
• Validate that handling of PHI, PII, and other regulated data meets the applicable frameworks (HIPAA, CCPA, GDPR, and others)
• Understand what it means when a React app sends user data to a third-party API

• 3L (at start of internship) with 1–2 years of work experience, a genuine interest in tech or privacy law, and the ability to translate legal risk into language developers can act on
• Familiarity with HIPAA, CCPA, or GDPR is a plus

This role has a defined end date; but it sits at the intersection of two areas we’re actively building out. For the right person, the path forward is real.
