Job Description
Reports To:
Director Of Technology/Local School Technology Coordinator
Qualifications:
- Experience with current Windows, Chrome and Apple operating systems
- Experience with configurations, and troubleshooting Windows laptops and desktops/towers; MAC computers, various laptops and iPads;
Chromebooks, and network printers - Experience with network and local machine software installations
- Experience with device management and MDM programs.
- Experience with imaging.
Responsibilities:
- Image/configure computers, Chromebooks, and laptops.
- Configure and set up network printers and copiers.
- Set up and/or move technologies as necessary by rotation schedule and as directed by Director of Technology.
- Set up and break down of technology equipment as needed for presentations and training.
- Perform hardware maintenance and upgrades including workstations.
- Maintain and repair/replace classroom, office, and meeting room technologies.
- Troubleshoot panels, projectors and replace projector bulbs.
- Install and troubleshoot document cameras.
- Maintain inventory of necessary parts and determine need for replacement parts.
- Provide technical support in all areas deemed necessary by the Director of Technology.
- Respond to and ensure service requests are successfully completed requests in a timely fashion.
- Maintain appropriate documentation in all areas of responsibility.
- Communicate with local technology coordinators at each site regarding service request progress in one of the following ways: conference, e-mail, voice mail, or written note.
- Serve as liaison with vendors as appropriate.
- Work with Network Administrator to ensure a safe and secure network.
- Maintain Dell Certification.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology.
Terms Of Employment:
Twelve months (240 days) annually. Day as defined by the district.
May exercise the 30-minute working lunch option. A working lunch is defined as being on-call and must be taken in an area where his/her work is performed.
Evaluation:
Performance will be evaluated in accordance with Board policies on evaluation of non-certified personnel.
