Pay Rate: $85.00 - $90.00per hr.
We are seeking an experienced Dev Sec Ops Engineer to help build and maintain secure, scalable, and automated software delivery pipelines. This role is responsible for integrating security throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by embedding security controls into CI/CD pipelines, application development, and containerized environments. The ideal candidate has a strong Dev Ops background with hands-on experience in modern CI/CD tools, automation, scripting, and security integration.
This individual will work independently while collaborating with software engineering and security teams to drive Dev Sec Ops best practices.
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Embed security throughout the SDLC and application development lifecycle.
- Integrate automated security testing into CI/CD pipelines, including:
- Static Application Security Testing (SAST)
- Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)
- Software Composition Analysis (SCA)
- Implement automated security monitoring, compliance checks, and vulnerability remediation processes.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to improve software delivery automation.
- Participate in modernization efforts, including migration from IBM Urban Code Deploy (UCD) to Harness.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to support build, deployment, testing, and operational processes.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Dev Ops/Dev Sec Ops experience.
- Strong experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Harness (Required)
- Git Hub Actions
- Strong scripting experience with Power Shell.
- Experience working in Windows and Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Experience migrating from IBM Urban Code Deploy (UCD) to Harness.
- Experience with Open Shift container platform.
- Experience with security tools such as Aqua Security (Aqua Scan), Coverity, or similar code scanning solutions.
- Python and/or Bash scripting.
- AWS experience (nice to have).
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
- Experience with automation scripting for testing or deployment processes.
