E-Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Collect, clarify, analyze, and translate business requirements into documentation and functional requirements
• Serve as a liaison between business operations and information systems for requirements, design, development, configuration, testing, implementation, and application support
• Work with end users to identify and understand business problems and processes and evaluate potential solutions
• Identify and analyze business needs, conduct requirements gathering, and define scope and objectives for complex projects
• Lead efforts to solve problems and produce quality deliverables
• Prepare conceptual and detailed design documentation through analysis, modeling, and specification
• Write user manuals or wiki documentation describing system operation and usage
• Verify and validate software requirements against documented and implicit business processes
• Perform root cause analysis and develop testing plans, criteria, and scripts
• Guide users through the testing process
• Prepare and deliver project and system presentations
• Act as Product Owner within a Scrum/Agile team
• Analyze business and technical processes to develop new and modified business information processing systems
• Coordinate with business and technology teams on system requirements, user acceptance, and testing
• Identify and suggest performance improvements
• Mentor less experienced staff members
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must be eligible to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship
• Typically requires a bachelor's degree and five (5) or more years of experience, or an equivalent combination
• Knowledge of Agile approaches including XP, Kanban, TDD, and FDD
• Knowledge of Agile tools such as Jira, Pivotal Tracker, and Collab Net Team Forge
• Advanced technical aptitude

• Experience developing and implementing systems using Agile/Scrum methodology
• Experience utilizing or deploying IT solutions to meet business requirements
• Ability to coordinate tasks and priorities across multiple projects
• Strong understanding of business intelligence concepts and applications
• Ability to capture requirements and facilitate sessions with business stakeholders
• Project management skills
• Proven ability to conceptualize, exercise judgment, and think creatively
• First level Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM I), CSPO, CCBA, or CBAP certification is preferred

Demonstrates expertise in gathering and analyzing business requirements, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and delivering quality documentation and solutions within Agile/Scrum frameworks. Proficient in project management and mentoring, with a strong understanding of business intelligence concepts.
