Level II - Linux Systems Administrator

Our client is seeking a Linux systems professional to help keep a large enterprise environment secure, automated, resilient, and running at peak performance. This is a high-impact infrastructure role where your Red Hat expertise, automation mindset, and CI/CD experience will directly support critical systems and business operations.

• Birmingham-based role with hybrid flexibility after the first 90 days
• High-visibility position supporting a large enterprise technology environment
• Strong focus on Red Hat Linux, automation, and modern infrastructure practices

• Work across VMware, enterprise storage, cloud, and application infrastructure

• Up to $97,000, depending on experience

• Administer and support production Red Hat Linux servers and enterprise infrastructure
• Automate server deployments, security updates, and patch management
• Build, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines and application dependencies
• Administer VMware/ESXi infrastructure and enterprise storage environments
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide Tier 3 support

• Strong hands-on Red Hat Linux administration experience in an enterprise production environment
• Demonstrated experience automating deployments and security/patch management
• Practical CI/CD pipeline experience
• VMware administration experience, including ESXi/vCenter
• Enterprise disk, storage, or SAN environment experience
