OverviewService Specialists Recruiting Agency is seeking an experienced HRIS Manager for a well-established, multi-state professional services organization. This person will lead the strategy, administration, and continuous improvement of the organization’s HR technology and people data. This is more than a system administration role—we’re looking for someone who is curious about how the organization works, takes the time to understand the people and processes behind the data, and finds ways technology can make work better.
InThis Role
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the organization’s HRIS and related people technology.
- Manage the day-to-day administration, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of HR systems, including UKG Pro.
- Lead system upgrades, enhancements, implementations, integrations, and technology projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, functionality, and user experience.
- Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and security of employee and organizational data.
- Develop HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics to support organizational decision-making.
- Manage integrations between the HRIS and other systems and partner with IT and technology vendors to resolve issues.
- Ensure HR systems are intuitive and designed with the end user in mind.
- Develop training and resources to help employees and managers effectively use HR systems.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, leadership, managers, and employees to improve processes and the overall employee experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 5–8+ years of HRIS experience, including experience administering and optimizing an enterprise HRIS.
- Strong experience with UKG Pro or a comparable enterprise HRIS.
- Experience with system configuration, reporting, integrations, workflows, testing, and data management.
- Experience leading HR technology projects, implementations, upgrades, or major system enhancements.
- Strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Strong understanding of data privacy, confidentiality, security, and HR compliance.
