Network Security Analyst

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is currently looking for an experienced Electronic Security Analyst to fill a contract position in Birmingham, AL. Anticipated Assignment

Schedule:

Monday-Friday on-site, 8 hour days, 8am-4pm (or minor time adjustments possible). Driving:
Driving outside of normal commute may be required. During the assignment there may be required site visits to facilities throughout the state (less than 25% of time).

• Prior electronic security experience (hardware, software, installation, & programing) required.
• Three or more years of experience in low voltage electronics, computer and network electronic security systems required.
• Experience and knowledge of data network systems including IP addressing and naming, web and proxy, internet, firewalls, virtual private networks, and remote computing access preferred.
• NERC/CIP access is required.

JOB DESCRIPTION Electronic Security Analyst This position is responsible for supporting the design, installation, and maintenance of security systems at company facilities and assets. Primary responsibilities include supporting electronic security staff through all stages including analysis, design, construction, implementation, testing, programing, and system monitoring.

• Three or more years' experience in low voltage electronics, computer and network electronic security systems
• Knowledge of the design, installation, and service of intrusion detection systems, access control systems (Software House CCURE), video surveillance systems (Avigilon VMS), intercom systems (Aiphone).
• Experience and knowledge of data network systems including IP addressing and naming, web and proxy, internet, firewalls, virtual private networks, and remote computing access.

• Electronic security project management from design, through installation, programing, testing, and commissioning.
• Programing electronic security software including Software House CCURE, Avigilon VMS, Site Owl, AiPhone, and Power Bi.
• Programing intrusion zones and system integrations for security monitoring.
• Designing physical and electronic security plans for company facilities including critical infrastructure.
• Ensuring compliance for job safety rules, building codes, and company policies.
• This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.
