About The Company
They are a well-established plaintiff personal injury firm headquartered in Birmingham, AL.
Responsibilities- As a paralegal working on insurance and personal injury cases, you will be fighting for clients' rights alongside the attorney.
- Helping with cases and talking with clients to reduce the stress that comes with the legal process.
- Initially, all paralegals begin by working in the office where it’s easy to ask questions, talk to colleagues, and connect as a team.
- Scheduling and setting depositions, mediations, and hearings.
- Filing and serving pleadings in both State and Federal Court.
- Communicating with clients.
- Helping with discovery.
- Calendaring deadlines.
- Conducting regular file reviews with the attorney to go over the status and next steps.
- 2+ years of experience as a Paralegal.
- Paralegal certification (preferred).
- Personal injury experience (preferred).
- $50-70k base salary.
- 4 day work weeks! Closed on Fridays.
