About ECA

ECA is a dynamic real estate investment and property management firm focused on revitalizing multifamily communities across the Southeast. We’re committed to creating value for our residents and investors by improving properties and streamlining operations. As we grow, we’re seeking a Supply Chain Manager to support our renovation and maintenance logistics in Birmingham.

Role Overview

The Supply Chain Manager will lead purchasing, inventory, and distribution of materials and equipment across our Alabama and Mississippi property portfolios. This role blends hands‑on warehouse management with a strong procurement focus — sourcing materials, managing vendor relationships, and processing purchase orders with a high degree of accuracy. The ideal candidate brings sharp attention to detail and a continuous‑improvement mindset, always looking for ways to make our purchasing and inventory processes faster, leaner, and more reliable.

This position will receive $60,000 to $65,000 annual salary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchase supplies, tools, equipment, and renovation materials; create, track, and reconcile purchase orders with a focus on accuracy in pricing, quantities, and delivery timelines
  • Build and manage vendor relationships — obtain and compare quotes, negotiate pricing, and evaluate vendor performance
  • Identify and implement process improvements across procurement, receiving, and inventory workflows
  • Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, perform regular cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies
  • Coordinate with property managers, maintenance crews, and contractors to fulfill material requests
  • Implement and optimize warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP tools
  • Track KPIs such as inventory turnover, order accuracy, purchasing cost savings, and fulfillment speed
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies
  • Support logistics for renovation projects and property upgrades
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, warehouse, logistics, or inventory management
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain, Business, or related field)
  • Procurement experience including vendor coordination, purchasing workflows, and PO/invoice reconciliation
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of accurate records and error‑free ordering
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes and drive operational efficiency
  • Familiarity with ERP or inventory software (such as Net Suite, SAP, Odoo, or Fishbowl WMS)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
  • Knowledge of construction/renovation materials is a plus
