Customer Service Associate (Part‑time)

Automotive Branch #9245 located at 1511 3rd Ave S, Birmingham, AL 35294.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (specific hours may vary based on business needs).

• Prepare orders for delivery or pickup, including loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping.
• Load and unload products from deliveries.
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment, such as forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, carts, etc.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS following company policies.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and optimize space utilization.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Keep the stockroom organized.
• Operate color retrieval and paint mixing machine equipment as needed.
• Assist with inventory control procedures and physical inventory processes.
• Complete monthly and quarterly safety training.

• At least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willingness to work all scheduled hours.

• High‑School diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience using material‑handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers).
• At least one year of experience in customer service, retail, or sales.
