A growing medical technology organization is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory professional to join their Operations team in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity for someone with a military logistics or supply chain background. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage field inventory counts for warehouse and hospital consignment locations
• Review inventory trends, discrepancies, and movement to improve accuracy and reduce shrinkage
• Develop and oversee the annual consignment inventory count process
• Partner with sales and operations teams to maintain accurate inventory records
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and process necessary adjustments
• Prepare inventory reports, adjustments, and month-end summaries
• Support inventory reviews, audits, and operational initiatives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and customers
• Provide data-driven support for inventory and operational decisions

Qualifications:

• Experience in inventory management, logistics, materials management, or operations
• Strong Excel and data skills
• Experience with Oracle or SAP (SAP strongly preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365
• Military logistics or supply chain background highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to independently investigate and resolve inventory-related issues

Travel:

• One overnight trip per month required
• Territory includes Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi
