Replenishment Buyer

The Replenishment Buyer supports inventory replenishment activities to maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure product availability. This position is responsible for purchase order processing, inventory monitoring, vendor communications, and resolving inventory receipt discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely processing. The Replenishment Buyer will report to the VP of Procurement and Merchandising.

• Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock based on sales demand, forecasts, and established inventory guidelines.
• Create, review, and manage purchase orders to ensure timely product replenishment.
• Track purchase order status, shipments, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels while balancing inventory investment and customer service objectives.
• Investigate and resolve inventory receipt discrepancies, including quantity variances, damaged goods, pricing differences, and receiving errors.
• Work closely with warehouse personnel to reconcile discrepancies between purchase orders, receiving documents, vendor invoices, and inventory records.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, vendor, and product information within the company's ERP system.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve replenishment processes and inventory control procedures.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in purchasing, replenishment, supply chain, or procurement within a wholesale distribution or similar environment preferred.
• Experience with ERP, MRP, or inventory management systems
• Working knowledge of purchasing processes, inventory replenishment, and inventory management principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order tracking.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and MS Office; strong skills in Excel required.
