this is a traveling, onsite role with varying projects across the united states. Only candidates with industrial construction experience will be considered

responsibilities- lead construction projects with professionalism, courtesy, and respect.
- set direction, allocate resources, and maintain a high standard of execution.
- serve as the initial point of contact for clients, assessing project scope and resource needs.
- oversee construction efforts to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to budget and schedule.
- maintain direct communication with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
- develop and manage project schedules.
- handle financial aspects of contracts, including fee payments and equipment rental.
- manage change orders and estimate additional work as necessary.
- ensure efficient use of materials, equipment, and labor to meet project goals.
- represent company in meetings, including project discussions and labor negotiations.
- establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards in line with company guidelines.
- monitor project costs and performance.
- coordinate subcontractors and lead contractor meetings.
- prepare and manage subcontracts and change orders.
- mentor and guide project engineers.
- troubleshoot project issues and implement solutions.
- ensure a smooth and efficient project closeout, including financial reconciliation.
- bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent technical training and experience.
- 7+ years of experience in structural steel project management, particularly in heavy industrial sectors.
- strong leadership, self-motivation, and the ability to build client relationships.
- proven ability to manage technical, safety, schedule, cost, and financial aspects of projects.
- proficient in microsoft office, primavera, autocad, and viewpoint software.
- experience in the automotive sector is a plus.
- excellent problem-solving and planning abilities.
