Job Title: Credit Manager
Location: Birmingham, AL (On-site)
Compensation: $80,000-$100,000 (DOE)

We are seeking an experienced Credit Manager to oversee credit risk management, customer account evaluation, and team coordination across business units. This role ensures credit decisions are well-informed, compliant with company policies, and supportive of business growth.

• Evaluate credit applications by reviewing financial statements and verifying customer creditworthiness.
• Set credit limits, approve or deny applications, and manage special credit arrangements.
• Monitor and audit delinquent accounts, ensuring maximum collection efforts before assigning bad debt status.
• Oversee annual credit file reviews and timely updates.
• Coordinate credit insurance coverage with the parent company and insurer.
• Lead and direct the daily activities of the Assistant Credit Manager.
• Foster communication between internal departments and subsidiaries to manage overall credit risk.

• Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum 4 years of experience within corporate credit, managerial experience is a plus
• Strong ability to interpret financial statements for credit assessment.
