Job Title:
Project Manager – Senior Living and Healthcare ( 2 positions)
Job Summary:
The Project Manager owns overall project performance from initial engagement through project completion . They proactively manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, stakeholder alignment, and cross‑disciplinary coordination, enabling technical teams to focus on design and execution while ensuring predictable project performance. Their primary value is driving decisions, removing obstacles, and orchestrating people, processes, and resources to achieve successful client objectives, Design Excellence, and ERDMAN business outcomes.
Responsibilities- Project Management:
Responsible for leading projects through their lifecycle, ensuring objectives are met and delivered on time, within budget and in alignment with client expectations. Oversee project planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management. Monitor overall project performance, identify and resolve issues and manage scope changes. Must possess the ability to balance competing priorities. - Client Communication :
Accountable for keeping clients informed of project status, including budget, schedule, issues, etc. Manages the client’s expectations around project design through individual and project team member communication. - Relationship Management:
Serves as the primary liaison with clients and team members to bring projects to completion while maintaining maximum client satisfaction from the project’s inception through completion. Ensures team collaboration and engagement remain high throughout the project. - Performance Management:
Works with team members to establish clear goals and expectations, provides ongoing feedback, develops skills and knowledge of team members and rewards people for their behavior and results. - Must possess the knowledge to plan, design, manage and review construction, development or manipulation of a physical environment for practical or creative objectives such as buildings, landscapes and/or other physical property.
- Adept in the process of planning, coordinating and controlling a project from beginning to completion to meet the client’s requirements and produce a functionally and financially viable project.
- Skilled in cultivating new clients and strengthening existing relationships to expand references and referrals and increase revenue. This includes building and nurturing market relationships and enhancing the firm’s visibility and reputation.
- Proficient in strategically generating, sustaining and growing business opportunities in healthcare and senior living markets.
- Develop actionable strategies to capture opportunities that lead to measurable outcomes in revenue generation, market expansion and brand positioning.
- Collaborate with internal leaders to align business efforts with operational needs.
- Actively promote ERDMAN’s Vision, Mission, Values and Service Offerings in a way that motivates others to reach beyond their own expectations.
- 10 years of experience in the architectural field.
- Previous supervisory and project management experience.
- Previous experience with healthcare or senior living architecture.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulatory approval processes.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Experience with Revit software is beneficial.
- Licensed architect
- NCARB preferred
- Work is performed in a professional, creative, open office environment with business casual attire.
- Hours of work will generally be during regular business hours and will average 2,300 hours per year.
